We are back!.. Ballincollig Basketball are now open for 2021/22 membership.
Ballincollig Basketball Club always welcomes new members, but please bear with us as we are in an unprecedented situation this year with the Covid 19 pandemic and we are complying with the dynamic public health advice and restrictions as directed by HSE, Sport Ireland and Basketball Ireland.
Note that Basketball is an indoor sport that poses higher risks for players than outdoor sports.
For the 2021/22 season Ballincollig Basketball Club require that all new members register with the club prior to participating in club activities. We need to make sure that all our players act responsibility for the safety of all our members. Additionally we need to provide our Covid Officer with details of players at each club event.
Existing members will have received a link by email with instructions on how to pay. If you do not have the link then please contact your coaches to get it sent to you.
Please note that all new members must first apply to Registrar.email@example.com before registering.
Once you provide your details to the Registrar you will be given details of how to pay.
Details of training times will be provided on our website. After registering your details will be forwarded to the relevant coach. Please wait for contact from your coach before you attend training.
There are 2 options for Online Payment of registration fees
- Pay full fees
- Pay in 3 monthly installments automatically charged against your credit/debit card (terms and conditions will be detailed by our Membership management platform – Clubforce).

It is important that all players and parents must read and adhere to our latest Return to Play procedures below.
In addition we advise all players and parents to complete Sport Ireland Covid19 training by clicking on the link below.
In the event that you want to discontinue membership with the club, please inform the registrar 4 days prior to the payment of the next instalment to ensure that we can process this request in time.
Note minimum payment – 1/3 registration fees (non – refundable).
New members will need to supply the following details to the registrar:
- Name of player,
- Have you played with another club previously ?
- If you were a member of another club when were you last active in that club?
Existing members have been provided with a link to renew membership or can get this link from the registrar at the link above
Under 9s will start back the first week of October.
Dependent on coaches some teams starting time may differ
Coaches will be in touch to confirm exact dates and times.
- Born in 2013/14/15 = Under 9
- Born in 2012 = Under 11
- Born in 2011 = Under 11
- Born in 2010 = Under 12
- Born in 2009 = Under 13
- Born in 2008 = Under 14
- Born in 2007 = Under 15
- Born in 2006 = Under 16
- Born in 2005 = Under 17
- Born in 2004 = Under 18
- Born before 2004 = U20 / Senior

This is available from Basketball Ireland. Transfers are regulated by Basketball Ireland and Cork Basketball Area Board.
