Jr NBA at Home

“Jr. NBA at Home,” is an interactive content series providing basketball skills and drills featuring NBA and WNBA players that can be completed individually and in limited space to help young players around the world stay active and develop their game in a safe and healthy way.  The initiative will include a series of daily posts on Jr. NBA social channels (FacebookTwitterInstagram) and NBA digital properties around the world that provide drills, activities and instruction to promote skill development, physical activity and character development.

Mini Basketball presents fun #BasketballAtHome activities

Mini Basketball, a global movement for kids aged 5 – 12 years, is putting game-based learning in the forefront. The Foundation believes that getting kids active at a young age will give them the right mindset in life to stay healthy. With kids being stuck at home, it is even more important to keep them active, this is why the IBF teamed up with Mini Basketball expert and ICoachKids Director Sergio Lara-Bercial to develop fun and game-based learning activities for parents to do with their kids at home.

Sport Ireland

Sport and physical activity is a cornerstone of life in Ireland. In recent weeks we have seen a shut down of clubs, tournaments and sport in general. This however does not mean that we as a nation cannot stay active.

Many National Governing Bodies of Sport,Local Sports Partnerships, sports science professionals and experts are working hard to ensure that you have the resources and guidance to stay active at home while still respecting and adhering to the measures of the Department of Health and the HSE.
